Staffing Opportunities

We are in need of more labourers to serve in many areas here on the base as well as in ministries outside the base. We need staff such as pre-school teachers, primary school teachers, skills trainers (carpentry, farming, mechanics and plumbing), health workers (Nurses, Doctors), hospitality etc.

We also have a vision to equip/train for missions and so in need of staff to run our YWAM Schools such as DTS as well as other second levels schools.

YWAM Lusaka – Staff Application Form

Thank you for applying to join YOUTH WITH A MISSION Lusaka. May you know God’s grace as you seek His direction and perfect will in your life. In order for us to process your application, we must receive all the forms completed by you or the people concerned.

If a question does not apply to you, please write N/A in the space.

Husband and wife enrolling must complete separate applications. Our prayers are that you enjoy God’s favor and grace in the whole application process.

Please note that for long term staff we recommend a minimum of 2years commitment. We are also open to receiving and working with volunteers on a short term basis of up to 6 months or more. Anyone wanting to be on full time staff is expected to have gone the YWAM Discipleship Training School.

Once you have submitted the above information, we will forward you the following forms to be filled out.

1. APPLICATION FEE: A non-refundable application fee of ZMK100 is to be forwarded with this application by all Zambian applicants resident in Zambia. Non-Zambians and all international applicants are requested to pay USD30.

2. FINANCIAL AGREEMENT: Please read carefully, complete and sign the Financial Policy and Indemnity
Form. Please note that signing this form commits you to payment of the base fees as set out in the Financial Policy. Your typed name anywhere on this application shall provisionally represent your signature.

3. REFERENCE FORMS: You need to give a Confidential Reference Form to your pastor, your
employer/teacher and your last YWAM leader (if you have done a YWAM school or have staffed in
YWAM). Ask them to complete the form and post/email it directly to YWAM Lusaka.

4. VISAS AND PERMITS: For all foreign nationals applying to be on staff at the base, please note that it is your financial responsibility to cover costs for your visa or permits for the whole period in Zambia. The base can only assist in the process with guidance and compiling the required documents. This is applicable to foreign students and short-term staff or volunteers.

We must receive at least two of the reference forms BEFORE we can process your application.
Please submit two recent passport-size photographs with your application.

Please note that: once all papers have been received and processed; YWAM Lusaka has the right to accept or not accept and this will be communicated to you.
